Hope You Enjoyed! A few different things i didn't mention. I used mipmapping on my textures so when they are rendered far away, they get blended instead of being so pixelated. Also, the generator for the world has a seed, so every time i open that version of Minecraft, i will get the exact same world. And another update that i'll be working on, is clouds, just like the ones in the real Minecraft. Also, since the last video, i haven't been working on it like everyday, i literally made tons of those updates right before this video. Before the video, i had worked on water, that's pretty much it. And i got that working on the day i started. What i hadn't done, was make my engine remove the faces that are hidden inside blocks. If i used cullface for the water, you wouldn't see the faces of the water you're inside. And therefore, those other faces attached to the outside water blocks would be shown over the furthest side... So in all, i had some work to do. Plus my engine is handling 3 types of textures... SOLID: Any non-see though type. e.g sand ALPHA: Any with blank pixels. e.g leaves BLEND: Any with pixels that have alpha channeling. e.g water When placing/removing cubes, there's some quick changes the blocks have to make, so that the scene is correct. Anyway, hope you enjoyed. Thanks for watching!
